Week 21 - Jan 27

No kindergarten classes this week.
First and second grade students will practice math facts in Sheppard Math.

All third through sixth grade classes will take the online practice SBAC test this week. Note to parents: there's no identification associated with this; all students are logging in as guest. The district wants to try out the technology and logistics before students take this test in the spring. Our students are giving some very valuable feedback about the mechanics of the test and they're being very good sports!

Week 20 - Jan 21

Kindergarten classes come to the lab this week.

Fourth through sixth graders will practice typing and do research on Martin Luther King, Jr.
First graders will read non-fiction in Starfall.
Mrs. Link's class will finish their winter poems.

Week 19 - Jan 14

No kindergarten classes this week.

Most second and third grade classes will be practicing math facts with FactMonster or Sheppard Math.
Most fourth through sixth grade classes will be learning about Google maps.
First grade classes will be doing phonics practice with Starfall or Let's Go Learn.

Week 18 - Jan 7

Happy New Year!
Kindergarten classes come to the lab this week.
Fifth and sixth grade classes will take the tests in Typing Web. (Note from Cathy: they are universally amazed at their progress!)
Mr. Gill's class is working on their book reports.
Mr. O'Connor's class is researching the author of their book report book.
Kindergarteners are doing 10-frames and beginning addition in Harcourt.
