Week 1 - Aug 27

The 4th through 6th graders start computer lab this week. Students will learn how to log in to the new district network. All students will learn how to log in to their accounts and start typing instruction in Typing Web. We will also play with Wordle. Ms. Henry's class will do research for their Native American projects - see web sites in the current links box.

Note to parents: learning to log on to the district network was enough challenge for all of us for the week. We'll start with TypingWeb soon.

Back to School!

Welcome back to school!

Classes in the computer lab will start the week of Aug 27 for the 4-6 graders. Classes for K-3 will start the week of Sept. 17, after Back to School.

We're looking forward to another great year in the computer lab!

Last week of school!

Ms. Henriquez' class will finish the Let's Go Learn assessments and then have free choice of math games.
All classes will have free time this week.

Week 34 - May 29

Kindergarten classes come to the lab this week.

Ms. Henriquez' and Ms. Gillespie's classes will finish the Let's Go Learn assessments.
Mrs. Link's class will complete their urban bird study.
Ms. Billings' class will practice math facts in FactMonster.
Ms. Buginas' class will explore the 5th grade math links.
Ms. Shastri's, Ms. Cason's, and Ms. Nichols' classes will do math practice.
Mr. B's class will do DanceMat typing.
Kindergarteners will play math games in Harcourt.
Mr. Aiken's and Ms. Henry's classes will view their powerpoints.

No kindergarten classes this week.

Ms. Gillespie's, Ms. Ruff's, and Ms. Henriquez' classes will do the Let's Go Learn assessments.
Ms. Link's class will study urban birds.
Ms. Buginas' class will study electromagnetism and EC history.
Mr. Aiken's and Ms. Henry's classes will work on their autobiographical power points.
Ms. Nichols' class will play Harcourt Math baseball with division.
Mr. B's class will finish Oregon Trail.
Ms. Cason's and Mrs. McKnight's classes will play with KidPix.
Ms. Gray's and Ms. Barr's classes will practice multiplication in Harcourt.
Mr. Lehman-Winters' class will create crossword puzzles and work on their autobiographies.

Fifth graders are at Pigeon Point.

Ms. Gillespie's class will work on the Let's Go Learn Assessments.
Ms. Billings' class will do SpellIt with the rainforest words.
Mrs. Link's class will explore multiplication and division in Harcourt.
Ms. Buginas' class will finish their open house projects.
Ms. Gray's class will practice Microsoft Word.
Third graders will learn about healthy eating with the Food Pyramid game.
Mr. Lehman-Winters' class will make crossword puzzles with their spelling/vocabulary words and work on their Friday projects.
Ms. Cason's class will read in Starfall.
Kindergarten classes will practice addition in Harcourt first grade.
Mr. Gill's class will write quatrain poems.
Second graders will play math games in Sheppard.
Mrs. McKnight's class will research summer reading lists and the library.
Ms. Henriquez' class will practice double-digit addition in AAAMath.
Ms. Tobin's class will type up poetry.
Ms. Koenig's class will finish their California reports.
